Order Precision

To maintain consistent trading behaviour across all integrations, Quidax enforces minimum order values and precision limits for trading pairs.

Minimum Order Value

Orders must meet the following minimum value requirements:

• 1000 Naira for NGN
• 90 cents ($0.9) for USDT

Orders submitted below these thresholds will be rejected by the API.

Recommended action: Ensure your application mandates the minimum order value to your users before sending requests to the Quidax API.

Trading Pair Precision

Our precision values for trading pairs are changing. This affects the number of decimal places each currency in the pair can have in terms of volume and price.

Here’s an example:

For the BTC/USDT pair, BTC will have a precision of 5 (maximum of 5 figures after the decimal), USDT will have a precision of 2 (maximum of 2 figures after the decimal) and the pair's price will have a precision of 2.
